The Ohio Corrosion Committee brings corrosion professionals and infrastructure stakeholders together to share technical knowledge, review corrosion-related concerns, and address electrical interference issues throughout Ohio.
Through cooperation and information sharing, OCC helps participating organizations identify potential problems, coordinate field testing, exchange technical experience, and develop practical solutions that help protect critical infrastructure.
Working Together to Protect Ohio's Infrastructure
Corrosion control often involves more than a single company or facility. Pipelines, utilities, transportation systems, grounding systems, cathodic protection equipment, and other infrastructure can interact in ways that require communication and cooperation between multiple organizations.
The Ohio Corrosion Committee provides a central forum where these issues can be documented, reviewed, and discussed.
OCC members can submit cases involving suspected interference, rectifiers, cathodic protection systems, or other corrosion-related concerns. Those cases can then be reviewed by participating organizations so testing, communication, and follow-up can be coordinated when necessary.
